The first annual Idaho Book Extravaganza did not disappoint and as it was my first writer’s convention I did not know what to expect. With my notebook and pen I eagerly sat through the workshops listening to all the exciting stories and remarkable advice. I learned so much from the authors and speakers as I took notes and absorbed all the information from their counsel.
Walking through the trade show was not only interesting it was a great motivator. It’s refreshing to find so many creative venues in the immediate area. Each vender presented invaluable information that I will take with me and apply towards my career as a writer.
If nothing else, the greatest thing I took away from the event is that an author can make money in this industry as long as you’re persistent, talented, and get your stories out for all to read.
