Leave civilization behind and enjoy nature while visiting Into the West Campground. The choice of where to go camping is made easy when you drop on by this western-themed campground featuring custom Log Cabins, Tent Spaces and two covered wagons that sleep two persons with a slide-out table and cookstove in each. Restrooms, showers, water, and electricity are available on site. Campfires are permitted depending on the season and drought restrictions. Owned and operated by JD Van Horn along with Janice M. Abraham, who is determined to make your camping trip a memorable one.
Opening spring 2011, the all-new Into the West Campground is located just off US Hwy 12 in Marmarth, North Dakota. This historic town is nestled in a Cottonwood grove beside the Little Missouri River offering breathtaking scenery, wildlife, history, and dinosaur & fossil digs. Don’t forget to visit our Unique Antique Car Museum just east of the campground within walking distance. Here you will find exceptional collectibles from antique cars and trucks, Buddy L Toys, to coin collections with everything in between. The collections here are truly rare finds with three 18’ Tee Pees for sale complete with liners, robe, marbles, stakes, lacing pins, wood rope slides, and Sunforger flame-resistant complete canvas (cover, liner, and door).
The campground and museum are open May 7th thru September 7th. No Smoking is permitted inside our log cabins. For more information about our campground and museum log onto www.IntoTheWestCampground.com or call (701) 279-5904. You can also email us at info@intothewestcampground.com.
